Internal Service Boundaries

Clear Scope. Defined Responsibility. No Surprises.

WestPoint MSP maintains clearly defined service boundaries to ensure predictable delivery, accountability, and operational clarity. Our managed services focus on securing, maintaining, and optimizing IT environments,  not delivering work that falls outside infrastructure management and support unless explicitly approved.

Establishing these boundaries protects both parties by aligning expectations and reducing operational risk.

Services Not Included Unless Explicitly Approved

The following items are outside the scope of standard managed services unless formally documented in a signed agreement:

Application design, coding, feature development, and proprietary system engineering are not included. We support the infrastructure applications run on, not the development of the applications themselves.

We do not provide legal advice, regulatory interpretation, or certification issuance. Our role is to ensure your infrastructure is technically aligned with audit and compliance frameworks.

Establishment of consistent technology standards to improve security, reduce complexity, and simplify long-term management.

Hardware purchases, replacements, and capital expenditures are not included in managed service fees.

Large-scale migrations, rebuilds, or infrastructure redesigns require separate planning and approval.

While we assist with coordination and escalation, service failures caused by external vendors remain outside our direct responsibility.
